Job Highlights

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and design individualized therapy strategies that guide them toward achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with a diverse group of professionals, including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy methods to empower ongoing progress within the home environment
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring patients remain on their path to success

Prerequisites

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
