Opportunities available in the heart of Dallas The Quality, Safety and Value Officer provides leadership and operational oversight for organization-wide quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory readiness, risk reduction, and value-based care initiatives. This role partners with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to strengthen a culture of safety, improve patient outcomes, reduce avoidable harm, support compliance with applicable standards, and advance efficient, high-value care delivery. Location: 5750 Pineland Dr, Dallas TX 75231 Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000 Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do : Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality, patient safety, performance improvement, and value-based care programs. Partner with leadership to identify improvement priorities, establish measurable goals, and align initiatives with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, payer expectations, and patient needs. Oversee quality data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to track performance, identify trends, and support timely decision-making. Coordinate patient safety activities, including event reporting, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and follow-up to reduce risk and prevent recurrence. Support regulatory and accreditation readiness by maintaining awareness of applicable standards and coordinating audits, policy reviews, documentation, and improvement plans. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to reduce variation in care, improve outcomes, enhance patient experience, and support evidence-based practices. Advance value initiatives focused on improving care quality while reducing waste, avoidable utilization, negative outcomes, unnecessary variation, and preventable costs. Develop, evaluate, and help implement policies, procedures, workflows, and education related to quality, safety, compliance, and performance improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for staff and leaders on quality improvement methods, patient safety principles, data interpretation, and regulatory expectations. Facilitate committees, workgroups, and interdisciplinary improvement teams; prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership as needed. Promote a just culture and high-reliability mindset that encourages transparency, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. Maintain professional knowledge of healthcare quality, patient safety, regulatory, and value-based care trends through ongoing education and professional engagement. What you need to succeed To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, be a self-starter, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration , Nursing, Public Health, Quality Improvement, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, performance improvement, clinical operations, risk management, compliance, or a related field. Proven experience leading quality improvement initiatives and driving organizational performance improvement across multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory, accreditation, and compliance standards, including Joint Commission, HRSA, FTCA, and other patient safety and quality reporting requirements. Experience analyzing healthcare performance data, identifying trends, and developing actionable recommendations to improve quality outcomes. Proficiency with data analysis, report preparation, presentation development, eClinicalWorks (or similar EHR), and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at all organizational levels. Clinical licensure or healthcare professional credential (RN, LPN, MD, PA, NP, or equivalent) preferred. Certification in healthcare quality, patient safety, risk management, Lean, Six Sigma, or another process improvement methodology preferred. Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), community health center, ambulatory care, hospital, or integrated healthcare setting preferred. Familiarity with value-based care, population health management, quality incentive programs, health equity initiatives, and performance metrics. Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient-centered care. Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The role provides direct supervision to quality, safety, performance improvement, and data support staff.
