Thought Leader Liaison, Nephrology- Mountain West

Biogen seeks an Associate Director of Thought Leader Liaison for Nephrology to build relationships with key medical experts and stakeholders across the Mountain West region. This field-based role develops commercial strategy through account engagement, advocacy initiatives, and marketplace insights across current and future kidney disease treatments.

Responsibilities

Develop regional commercial plans and gather insights to inform marketing strategy and product adoption
Identify, profile, and engage key medical experts in transplant and nephrology communities
Serve as primary liaison for approved KME engagement activities including advisory boards and educational initiatives
Gather and translate stakeholder feedback into strategic recommendations for launch planning and portfolio decisions
Support regional and national congress planning and coordinate KME activities at scientific meetings

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 7 years marketing, field sales, or thought leader liaison experience
Field-based rare disease and/or nephrology experience required
Strategic thinking with ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information and identify opportunities
Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building with healthcare professionals
Willingness to travel 60-70% across assigned geography

Compensation: $180,000–$247,500 base
