Job Details TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Miami, Florida. Job ID: 1425716 Job Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient throughout all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment (e.g., ARRT (VI)). #J-18808-Ljbffr TotalMed
