This is a contract role, scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing critical, on-site physical therapy services to students in a collaborative and dynamic educational environment. You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing students’ educational access and achieving positive outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License is required
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with confirmation of credentials
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Competency in delivering physical therapy services exclusively on-site
• Skilled in collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families
• Proficiency with ECATS and Infinite Campus systems is an advantage

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions tailored to students’ needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student evaluations
• Conduct screenings and assessments, documenting progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Educate school staff and families regarding safe mobility and adaptive strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation using school-based systems
