Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN/RN Wound Care Nurse to join our dedicated team at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. As a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional skin care to our residents under the medical direction and supervision of our attending physicians or Medical Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care treatment and therapy to residents under the medical direction and supervision of our attending physicians or Medical Director

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote skin health and wound healing

• Monitor and assess the condition of wounds and report any changes or concerns to the Medical Director

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective wound management

• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on wound care and skin health

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and patient progress

Requirements

• Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the state of Arkansas

• Previous experience in a long-term care facility or wound care setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• On-call duties one day a week and one weekend a month with on-call pay

• Weekdays: Monday - Friday, with the exception of on-call duties
