Radiation Therapist II

Role Overview: Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments following physician plans, ensuring precise, safe, and timely procedures. Work independently with sound judgment, providing attentive patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication to gain patient trust and cooperation. Adhere to all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards while delivering optimal care. May assist in procedures and staff training. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program Certifications: ARRT Radiography, RHTT or RHA in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology, BLS 2+ years relevant experience preferred Knowledge of radiation therapy principles, equipment, and emergency response Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient privacy and safety Responsibilities: Deliver radiation treatments, monitor patients, collaborate with healthcare team, ensure compliance with policies, and support staff training.
