Full-Time Locums Psychiatry Job in Virginia
State Hospital in Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist for a full-time locum opportunity treating adult inpatient psychiatric patients. Experience with serious mental illness is required; forensic experience preferred.
Highlights
Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
No weekends, holidays, or call
3-month assignment with extension potential
Adult inpatient population including acute, chronic, and forensic patients
Immediate start available pending credentialing
Responsibilities
Psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning
Admissions, discharges, and medication management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Timely EMR documentation
Requirements
BC/BE Psychiatrist
Experience with adult inpatient psychiatry
Active AHA BLS or ACLS certification
Forensic experience preferred
