Rehabilitation Technician

Rehabilitation TechnicianSaint Francis Hospital and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our mission-driven Inpatient Acute Care Rehab Team.The Rehab Tech assists the therapists with direct patient care activities utilizing rehabilitation techniques and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team.You Will Be Responsible For:Prepares and assist in routine treatment in the acute care settingCleaning a patient and assisting with ADL'sAssisting therapist with manipulating critical lines, tubes and drains for patientsPerforms ongoing inventory of equipment and materials to ensure adequate supplyGeneral clerical and front desk supportCommunicates with ancillary departments, clients, and family members to ensure customer satisfaction.Minimum Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminologyPrior healthcare or patient service preferred.Strong communication skills, verbal and written.Excellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrated simple math skills.Highlights:Become a valued member of an excellent, dedicated health care teamEngaged leadershipExcellent Benefits effective on first dayPER DIEMSaint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
