Position Overview and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Administer procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in patient medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Provide guidance on non-medical follow-up measures, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies for patients and families.
• Implement evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality benchmarks and enhance the care provided to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the quality of care through the coordination, evaluation, customization, and delivery of a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.

Qualifications Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be secured within 30 days of employment commencement.
• Completion of the Trauma Nursing Core Course is required within one year of employment.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A diploma in nursing or an Associate Degree in nursing is required.
