You'll have the opportunity to create innovative design solutions that enhance the performance, serviceability, and customer experience of industry-leading outdoor power equipment.THE DAY TO DAY...Develop and supply technical information of medium to high complexity such as 3D models, 2D detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent to other groups as required. These groups will include Design Engineering, Tooling, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications, and Industrial DesignDocument and present technical information during design reviews, normally in the form of CAD model presentations and manipulations for viewing and discussionInvestigates problems and requirements of assigned projects and develops solutions in line with established project objectivesSupports multiple projects concurrentlyMay work with Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and platform managers to help prepare component and tooling cost estimatesTHE REQUIREMENTS...Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience directly related to the performance of the duties outlinedApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.About AriensCoSince 1933, the AriensCo name has been associated with reliable, durably crafted, high-performance outdoor power equipment.
