Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Meriden/New Haven team! As an RBT, you will work directly with clients, implementing individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) . You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on children’s lives while growing professionally in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as designed by the BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in-home, in-clinic, or community settings.
• Collect accurate and detailed data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
• Assist in teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Utilize reinforcement strategies to encourage positive behavior.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with families and caregivers.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
• Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines set by the BACB® and Sunny Solutions ABA.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RBT certification from the BACB® .
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or related disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following BCBA supervision and direction.
• Must pass background checks and have reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
