Outside Sales Representative

Corpus Christi, TX | On-site | Full-time

Coastal HVAC Supply is hiring a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow sales and market share across Corpus Christi & surrounding areas. You will prospect for new business, manage and expand existing accounts, and help contractors and other customers select HVAC products and services that meet their business needs. This on-site, field-based role is ideal for an organized, self-motivated sales professional who excels at building customer relationships and generating new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, margin, and customer-growth goals.
• Prospect and qualify new customers, existing customers, and inactive accounts.
• Build lasting relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to grow each account.
• Present HVAC products and services, recommend solutions, prepare quotes, and negotiate terms.
• Manage customer orders and coordinate support with branches, operations, vendor, and product-training teams.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and document calls, activities, and results in company CRM and reporting tools.
• Monitor market conditions, competitors, and product developments to strengthen territory strategy.
• Promptly resolve customer questions and own follow-up on past-due invoices.

What We’re Looking For

• Sales experience is preferred; outside sales, account management, or related industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC or air-conditioning industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to build customer relationships, manage a territory, and grow a book of business.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with branches, operations, and vendor teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and operating systems.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
