Title: Mobile Technician
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm, potential for OT, some emergency on-call work
Location: 430 Southridge Pkwy, Culpeper VA 22701

Potential to convert to FTE, If so, what rate: yes

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
Candidate will create their own route and schedule based on work orders that come in

Team Overview:
Candidate will be working independently
Truck and tools will be provided
Candidate will be servicing dialysis clinics
- 15-20 in their area, up to 2 hour radius

Resource's typical working day:
Candidate will plan their day based on work orders
Complete emergency work orders first
HVAC and water heater PM's
Check in with clinic managers if more work is needed
HVAC
Plumbing
Electrical
Flooring repairs
Painting/Patching
General maintenance
Assessing for safety hazards

Licenses/Certifications:
Universal EPA 608 license
Applicable HVAC certifications
Driver's License - required

Must Have Skills:
HVAC
Plumbing
Electrical
Flooring repairs
Painting/Patching
General maintenance

Nice to have skills:
NATE Certification
Master Electrician License

Soft Skills:
Client and patient facing role, so high level of professionalism is required
Excellent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Years of Experience:
5-7 years

Education
H.s. diploma or GED - required
Trade School - highly preferred

Software skills:
Basic computer skills
Candidate will use a lap top and cell phone

About the Role:
As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
•Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
•Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
•Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
•Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
•Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
•Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond tocommon inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
•Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
•Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
•Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:
•High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver's License required.
•Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
•Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.•
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
•Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
•Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
