A vibrant community of individuals passionate about the work they do!Become the Diet Technician you always wanted to be:Conducts nutrition reviews and collects information for patient nutritional assessments.Conducts patient interviews to obtain food preferences and diet histories.Provides diet education to patients, family members and other caregivers.Completes patient follow-ups as directed by the Registered Dietitian.Implements nutritional care plans, adapts menus, and assists patients with their nutritional needs.Conducts in-service education with staff and other disciplines as needed.Modifies and monitors patient menus.Meets with Registered Dietitian on a regular basis.Qualifications:Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) as a DTR (Dietetic Technician, Registered)/NDTR (Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered).Food Handler/Safety permit as required by local regulations.Associate's degree.
