As Employee Owners, our Assistant Salon Managers at Kenneth's are surrounded with support in all day-to-day operations as they develop leadership skills, inspire high-performing teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support salon operations. In this role, the Assistant Salon Manager partners with the Salon Manager to coach and develop Service Providers and Guest Service Associates, uphold Kenneth's brand standards, and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. This is a full-time, on-site position. Responsibilities Supporting all Service Providers and Guest Service associates in delivering a luxury experience for every guest Assisting the Salon Manager with the daily operations of the salon Supervising, coaching, and motivating Service Providers and Guest Service associates Leading by example to create an exceptional guest experience through outstanding service and hospitality Supporting hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of salon team members Coaching employees to achieve individual and team performance goals Assisting with scheduling, productivity, and daily operational needs Ensuring Kenneth's Brand Standards, Dress Code, Company Policies, and Procedures are consistently followed Addressing guest questions and concerns with professionalism and care to ensure guest satisfaction Supporting salon retail initiatives by coaching the team on product recommendations and sales Assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment Other duties assigned based on the needs of the business Qualifications Commitment to Kenneth’s Salon + Spas brand and the ability to model and reinforce our culture every day Availability to work 40 hours per week with open availability to meet the needs of our guests and business, including evenings, weekends, and 2–3 Saturdays per month 2–3 years of customer service experience required; previous leadership experience in a salon, spa, retail, hospitality, or other service environment preferred Passion for guest care, employee development, and ongoing professional growth Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with salon scheduling software and basic computer systems preferred Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program Professional Development and Continuing Education Opportunities Leadership Development and Career Advancement Generous Employee Discounts on Services and Products Paid Time Off Life Insurance Accident and Critical Illness Coverage Short-Term Disability Insurance If you're passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and helping lead a team dedicated to beauty and service excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
