Staff Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individual patient care through the nursing process. This role includes the responsibility of directing co-workers and delegating role-appropriate tasks to ensure effective patient care. All duties and responsibilities must be performed in alignment with established policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient based on the nursing process.
• Provide quality care according to established plans and pathways.
• Educate patients and families throughout the admission and discharge processes.
• Document the nursing process comprehensively and accurately.
• Notify physicians of relevant observations and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care and report malfunctions to the appropriate departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.

Schedule

This position is a night shift role, scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
