Admissions Coordinator

to ensure that every referral is processed and reviewed in a timely manner and that every admission is accomplished by providing a smooth transition from the hospital, community, or other settings. The

Admissions Coordinator

serves as the communication link between departments, ensuring a seamless process for each referral and admission. healthcare, human services, marketing, census development, and the admissions process Strong

verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well

in a team setting

client inquiries and admissions procedures Organize and input information into

databases Follow the facility’s

admission process Verify

primary and secondary payer sources If

Medicare

, verify the

number of days available (HIQA and prior SNF) If

PA/Pending

, notify the

business office regarding the application status Verify

payment status on all new admissions Enter all

face sheet information into the system
