About the Position

Ophthalmologist Locum Tenens Opportunity

Location: Georgia

Openings: 1

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Overview

• Perform comprehensive ophthalmology examinations for veterans or military applicants.
• Evaluate visual acuity, visual fields, ocular motility, pupil function, slit lamp findings, and fundus examination.
• Review relevant medical records prior to each examination.
• Complete required government documentation, including disability questionnaire forms, based on objective clinical findings.
• Evaluation only role with no ongoing treatment or management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with residency training in Ophthalmology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any US state.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
