About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Product to take on a pivotal executive role in leading a portfolio of defense modeling and simulation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping product strategy in a technically complex, mission-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on real-time systems, distributed architectures, and long lifecycle sustainment. This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of how complex defense products are built and sustained, including the ability to align roadmap decisions with contract delivery, long-term platform health, and real-world mission value. The VP of Product will work closely with engineering and program leadership, drive roadmaps across integration-heavy product ecosystems, and ensure that product decisions are in line with interoperability demands and rigorous quality expectations. Applicants for the VP of Product position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, with an advanced degree preferred. A significant background in product management, development, or portfolio leadership within defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical sectors is essential. The role requires a strong technical foundation in software development, experience with real-time systems, distributed systems, and simulation environments, and a proven track record of leading products within long lifecycle programs. Familiarity with defense simulation standards and experience in program-aligned environments are also key. The ideal candidate will have executive-level communication skills, the ability to influence technical teams and senior leadership, and a proactive approach to building and mentoring a high-performing product organization.
