About the Role:
Dr. Marc Allen Medical PC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Medical Assistant to join our team in Northport, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your clinical career in a patient-focused medical practice where your skills and commitment truly make a difference every day. Responsibilities:

• Assist physician with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical care
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in EMR/EHR systems
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
• Administer injections, collect lab specimens, and perform routine diagnostic tests
• Manage patient scheduling, appointment reminders, and front-to-back office flow
• Handle prior authorizations, prescription refill requests, and patient follow-up calls
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient medical office setting
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and basic medical office procedures
• Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills
• Excellent communication and patient-facing interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus
