Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapy and patient care per physician orders, hospital policies, and department standards
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatments as needed to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
- Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory therapy equipment
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to care and equipment usage

Requirements
- Active Michigan state license to practice respiratory therapy
- 2+ years of RRT experience (required)
- BLS certification and NBRC credential (RRT)
- Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG training (required)
- ACLS preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and meet 36-hour guaranteed schedule
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation
