Associate Wealth Advisor

A leading private wealth management firm is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to support the development of new relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. This is a business development role focused on sourcing and cultivating prospective clients, supporting senior advisors through the sales process, and helping convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Partner with senior wealth advisors to develop and execute strategies for identifying and engaging prospective clients. Source and qualify new business opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and other lead channels. Prepare prospect profiles, presentations, meeting materials, and supporting analyses. Conduct due diligence on prospective clients and referral sources. Build relationships with prospective clients, centers of influence, and industry professionals. Attend networking events, conferences, and prospective client meetings. Coordinate with investment, wealth planning, family office, and client advisory specialists throughout the business development process. Develop proficiency in asset allocation modeling, portfolio analysis, fixed income strategies, and tax-transition planning. Support the internal review and approval process for new relationships. Manage the transition of new clients to the appropriate advisory team. Maintain accurate and timely prospect activity in Salesforce. Travel as needed for conferences and client meetings. Qualifications MBA required; CFA preferred. Five or more years of experience in financial services preferred, with exposure to wealth management, investment management, investment banking, or a related field. Demonstrated interest in business development and relationship building within private wealth management. Willingness to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
