Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of inpatient Med/Surg experience and be proficient in using the Epic charting system. This position involves a patient ratio of 1:6 and requires occasional floating to units of equal or lesser acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system required (within the last 6 months).
• Current and valid RN license (State or Compact).
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
