Repairs Officer - Interim Contract
Location: North Northamptonshire (Office & Site Based)
Contract: Interim 3-Month Rolling Contract
We are seeking an experienced Repairs Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service across our housing stock.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out void property surveys and preparing work specifications.
- Undertaking site safety inspections , work in progress visits , snagging inspections , and post-inspections .
- Monitoring contractor and trade performance to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.
- Providing technical support and advice on repairs and maintenance matters.
- Preparing reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety, building, and environmental legislation.
- Supporting the Team Leader with the supervision of repairs, maintenance, and compliance activities.
Requirements:
- Experience within housing repairs, maintenance, property services, or building surveying.
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Repairs Officer looking for an immediate interim assignment in a varied and hands-on role.
