This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and provide meaningful financial insights that support business decisions.**What You’ll Bring**· Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.· Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and investigate variances.· Effective communication skills to collaborate with department leaders and respond to inquiries professionally.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.**What You’ll Do**· Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting documentation.· Monitor monthly and year-to-date financial activity against budget expectations.· Perform variance analysis and investigate significant fluctuations in financial results.· Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.· Assist with quarterly financial reconciliation and reporting requirements.· Review capital expenditure requests and monitor approved capital spending.· Capitalize completed fixed assets and assign appropriate depreciation schedules.· Maintain fixed asset records and prepare related depreciation and summary reports.· Support daily and monthly treasury-related activities.· Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports and ad hoc reporting requests.· Conduct accounting research and provide recommendations for resolving accounting issues.· Collaborate with operational departments to gather financial information and respond to accounting inquiries.· Assist department leaders with annual budget preparation and forecasting activities.· Utilize and support financial systems and reporting tools to improve accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy.· Support internal control activities and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.· Support internal and external audits by providing records, research, and requested documentation.· Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.· Review financing proposals and assist with financing-related analyses.· Facilitate communication between accounting, engineering, and maintenance teams regarding capital projects.· Perform additional duties as assigned.**What You’ll Need**· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.· 0–3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; J.D.
