About the Opportunity

An established, independently owned hospitality group is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a highly successful, chef-driven restaurant and events operation. This multifaceted concept features multiple dining experiences, a robust beverage program, private events, and a culture built around exceptional hospitality, creativity, and community engagement.

Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the operation, overseeing front-of-house leadership while partnering closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution across all aspects of the business. The role includes financial management, beverage oversight, team development, guest satisfaction, operational standards, and strategic planning.

Working closely with ownership, the General Manager will lead an established management team while fostering a positive culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on hospitality and operational excellence
• Develop, mentor, and support management and hourly team members
• Partner with culinary leadership on menu strategy, operational efficiencies, and guest experience
• Oversee beverage programming, including wine, spirits, and cocktail development
• Maintain exceptional service standards and ensure a consistently outstanding guest experience
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance management
• Drive financial performance by monitoring labor, inventory, food and beverage costs, and overall profitability
• Oversee maintenance of the facility and ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
• Collaborate with ownership to identify opportunities for continued growth and operational improvement
• Support marketing initiatives and help maintain a strong community presence through guest engagement and reputation management

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of General Manager or Director-level restaurant leadership experience
• Experience leading high-volume, chef-driven or upscale casual restaurants
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, and P&L performance
• Demonstrated success developing management teams and building positive workplace culture
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service operations
• Comfortable partnering with ownership and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
