Cherry Picker Forklift Operator - Ocala
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to work with Ocala Talent Pool in Ocala. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for efficiently operating cherry picker equipment to retrieve and transport materials, handle inventory, receive and prepare shipments, and ensure product accuracy.
Shift Patterns
- Day Shifts: Sunday - Wednesday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Day Shifts: Wednesday - Saturday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Pay Rates
- 21.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
- Proven experience operating cherry pickers.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs periodically during the shift.
- If you have worked for ID Logistics before through Job&Talent, Freight Breakers, or Balance Staffing, we are accepting re-hires at this time.
Skills Requirements for Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment functionality.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling best practices.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations pertaining to warehouse safety.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Role for Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
- Operate cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently to pick orders from high shelving units.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that items are selected according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
