Production Supervisor

The Arkansas plant, opened in 1975 on a 67-acre site about 75 miles northwest of Little Rock, manufactures carbon, alloy, and high-yield steel weld fittings in a wide range of sizes. Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area (Russellville, AR facility). This role oversees daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met, safety protocols are followed, and quality standards are maintained. The Production Supervisor coordinates workforce allocation, monitors equipment and material needs, and resolves production issues to minimize downtime. The role includes tracking production metrics, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams. The Production Supervisor also provides clear communication to team members, conducts shift meetings, supports training and development, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment. Qualifications Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management. Experience working with Production Schedules and Production Planning to meet output and delivery targets. Strong Communication skills to coordinate across departments and provide clear directions to production teams. Hands-on Production Management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, 5S). Ability to interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production documentation. Proficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting tools. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training or an associate/bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Prior experience supervising crews in heavy manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial fittings production is an advantage. Additional Responsibilities Hold daily and weekly safety talks with hourly staff. Enters daily labor transactions into Oracle. Participates in 6S project May be required to perform quarterly Sarbanes Oxley audit testing.Must work within the aspect of the PCC Code of Conduct, SOX and Export Compliance guidelines. Education and Experience Completion of a standard high school education supplemented by course work in drafting, industrial technology or related areas and extensive experience in plant operation; or any equivalent combination of experience & training which results in the required knowledge, skills & abilities. Special Skills Considerable knowledge of plant operations, with emphasis on techniques and equipment for area involved. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work objectives. Ability to effectively plan work procedures, equipment, material and manpower needs.
