Training & Work Location: Riverside, RI
Hours After Training: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Note: Hours may change based on business needs.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Client Services Specialist within Commercial Operations, you will provide high-quality service and support to commercial customers while meeting department service and quality standards. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage multiple customer requests across telephone, chat, and email channels.

The Client Services Specialist will research customer issues, identify root causes, recommend solutions, and support process improvements designed to improve service levels, reduce operational effort, and enhance the overall client experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card customers through telephone, chat, and email requests.
• Research products and services and provide training and guidance to clients.
• Independently support internal and external customers with a variety of Commercial Card, ACH, and Cash Management products, services, and technical issues.
• Diagnose, prioritize, resolve, and escalate technical, system, or procedural issues as appropriate.
• Research recurring service issues and perform root cause analysis to identify potential solutions and process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with operational support teams to research and reconcile client issues while working to prevent future occurrences.
• Support the implementation of solutions designed to improve service levels and client experiences.
• Proactively communicate potential problems or obstacles to management that may impact service standards.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers, colleagues, and internal support teams.
• Meet department productivity, service, and quality goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of customer service and call center experience.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telephone communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a daily workload effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong focus on meeting productivity and service goals.
• Advanced problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to navigate difficult customer situations professionally.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and recurring issues.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
