Job Details Job Location: Legal Address - Sioux City, IA 51106 Job Shift: Overnights / 3rd Shift Sunrise Retirement is seeking a Part Time 3rd shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) with a $5000 sign on Bonus! Responsibilities Provide direct assessment and care to the residents of this facility. Provide supervision of nursing department employees and evaluation staffing patterns to ensure quality care to all residents. Provide emergency services to the residents of independent living community. Provide quality care with a positive attitude and great customer service. Qualifications Must have a current nursing license and allowed to practice nursing in a qualifying state. Able to do all nursing duties following long term care regulations and procedure relevant to the charge nurse scope of practice. Able to problem solve situations and come up with interventions and solutions. Able to supervise nursing assistants and have some supervisor experience. Able to attend all mandatory trainings and keep current on all certifications (CPR, Mandatory Reporter, etc.). Physical Requirements Frequently lifts in excess of 35 pounds in performance of daily duties. Frequently required to push/pull wheelchairs, carts, and other equipment in the performance of daily duties. Frequently required to climb, balance, crouch, kneel and stoop in the performance of daily duties. Frequently required to use finger dexterity and grasping in the performance of daily duties. Frequently required to use reaching and repetitive movements in the performance of daily duties. Able to work with bloodborne pathogens, chemical hazards and respiratory hazards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
