About Travis Club

Travis Club is a 1,500-acre private, family-centered club and residential community along Lake Travis. The community includes an 18-hole golf course designed by Beau Welling, 10,000 feet of waterfront, more than 30 miles of private trails, a marina and boat club, and a growing collection of dining, wellness, racquet, and recreation amenities. As the Club opens and grows, our team is building a member experience intended to set a new standard for private club life in Texas.

The Opportunity

Travis Club is seeking a creative, highly organized, and hospitality-minded Events & Communications Coordinator. This position will shape how members gather and how the Club communicates by planning member events from concept through post-event review and creating event marketing and Club-wide email communications.

What You Will Do

• Develop the member events and social programming calendar with the Clubhouse Manager and propose original concepts suited to Travis Club members and families.
• Research, recommend, and book approved vendors while preparing clear event orders, budgets, timelines, layouts, staffing plans, and weather contingencies.
• Coordinate internal teams and vendors before each event and remain actively involved in onsite setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Track registrations, expenses, invoices, member feedback, and after-action reports so each program can be evaluated and improved.
• Write, design, proof, and schedule event invitations, reminders, newsletters, operational notices, and other Club-wide email communications.
• Maintain accurate event information across the member website, app, calendar, registration platform, signage, menus, and promotional materials.

What We Are Looking For

• At least two years of relevant experience in events, hospitality, member services, communications, or marketing. Private-club or luxury-hospitality experience is preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate vendors, manage competing deadlines, and remain calm and solutions-oriented during active events.
• Experience with email marketing, event registration, member communication, and design or content-creation platforms. Photography and basic photo or video editing skills are a plus.
• A member-first service approach and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the Club's event calendar.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

• Two years of experience in event planning, hospitality, member services, communications, marketing, or a related field. Experience in a private club, luxury resort, hotel, or similar service environment is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, communications, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating vendors, timelines, event details, and onsite execution.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the judgment to communicate clearly and appropriately with members and team members.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage concurrent events and communications with changing priorities and firm deadlines.
• Experience using email marketing, event registration, member communication, content creation, and design platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; photography and basic photo or video editing experience are preferred.
• Ability to manage event budgets, vendor proposals, invoices, files, and after-action records accurately.
• A member-first service approach, professional demeanor, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to remain composed during active events.
