Director Of Emergency ServicesLovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital are part of Lovelace Health System, a regional leader in advanced acute and specialty care serving the Albuquerque metro area and greater New Mexico community. This Director of Emergency Services role oversees operations across two emergency departments located across the street from one another in Albuquerque — the 21-bed emergency department at Lovelace Medical Center and the 7-bed emergency department at Heart Hospital. Together, the departments operate under one license and share a combined team of approximately 55–60 FTEs who float between both locations to support seamless patient care and throughput. The director will be based at 601 Dr. Martin Luther King Ave. and will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary leaders across behavioral health, med-surg and other service lines to ensure high-quality, efficient emergency care delivery. Lovelace Medical Center is a 263-bed acute care hospital known for advanced technology, including the da Vinci 5 surgical system, and for its commitment to staff development, collaborative leadership and patient-centered care.
