Position Overview: The IT Asset Procurement Administrator will oversee the daily activities of the IT purchasing function at Client. Responsibilities will include reviewing technology purchasing requests and orders leading to the management of vendor relationships. Additionally, assisting with ordering materials and supplies from vendors, researching, interviewing, and negotiating with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications, creating purchase orders for acquiring materials, and performing related administrative tasks. In addition, this position manages an asset's complete lifecycle from the initial requested order to deployment and then end-of-life disposal. Responsibilities: Assist with purchasing and managing Client IT assets and software requests. Responsible for working with onsite techs for product support and warranties, hardware purchases, and license information. Create all purchase requisitions. Maintain appropriate levels of consumables and inventory for each IT site location. Work with Onsite Technicians to receive and tag equipment assets. Responsible for maintaining and Auditing inventory (Physical inventory of IT sites quarterly). Entering asset information into the asset tracking software system. Review quotes and proposals from vendors and contractors; discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts. Request pricing quotes from suppliers. Ensure line items of the purchase order match the packing slip and the quality of the materials received. Work with onsite techs and employees to ensure returning defective equipment to a vendor is done within the needed return time scope and verify / arrange replacements. Maintain a repository of enterprise software licenses / keys. Manage Adobe License Admin Portal. Assist with updating and maintaining inventories for all equipment and supplies, including location asset tag number, serial number, and make and model of equipment. Coordinate with the helpdesk for new hire equipment installation and maintenance as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent of 3 years of work experience working as a systems Admin or Procurement lead in a Service Desk Environment. Minimum of two (2) years of Procurement and two (2) years of Asset Management experience.
