Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year CT experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be able to work independently in CT and surgery cases
• X-ray skills required
• Comfortable rotating through first, second, and third shifts

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• Wisconsin license

Key Skills

• Client CT experience
• C-arm experience
• Strong IV skills (preferred)
• General CT, cardiac, stroke, angiograms, CTA
• No IR, no biopsies
• Able to manage 30-minute case blocks
• Patient transport experience preferred

Patient Mix

• Inpatient
• Outpatient
• Emergency
• OR (preferred)
• Ratios: 1:1
• Usually 2 CT techs on staff; solo on third shift

Schedule Details

• Rotating schedule across CT/X-ray
• Mix of 812 hour shifts
• Must be willing to work third shift
• Every 4th weekend (Sat/Sun, 3p11:30p), unless filling PTO
• Holiday shifts tied to rotation (e.g., 11/26 10:30p7a, 12/24 10:30p7a)
• On-call every 11th week
  • MonThu 11:30p6a
  • FriMon 11:30p6a

Floating

• Will float within Radiology and CT/X-ray
• May float to Burlington Hospital or Southern Lakes (20 minutes away)
• Floating used to support PTO coverage or low census weeks

• EPIC (preferred)
• Client Optima 360
• McKesson PACS
• Pyxis
• i-STAT

Support Structure

• Department supervisor
• Radiology techs
• Receptionist (days)
• 24/7 hospitalist
• 24/7 respiratory therapy
• Code team backup

Orientation

• 13 days based on comfort level
