Quality Manager

Purpose of Position
Responsible for the Global Gilbarco Veeder-Root quality management system (QMS) and all of its related compliance.

Key Responsibilities
 Manage quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices, to assure the company of continuous improvement, conformance and effectiveness.
 Manage global quality systems share point and records system.
 Coordinate with global QMS leaders to ensure awareness and understanding of the Quality Management System.
 Manage internal audit system and team of auditors.
 Notify management of QMS audit findings and corrective actions taken.
 Ensure that the procedures and processes prescribed by the quality management system are in place and implemented.
 QMS introduction training and auditor training as needed.
 Drive quality related policy deployment objectives.
 Utilize statistical methods and root cause problem solving in analyzing quality issues and quality standards.
 Assist in the development of action plans in support of quality related policy deployment objectives and improvement projects.
 Provide input and recommendations for the identification and selection of improvement projects.
 Manage QMS and all of its related compliance.
 Assist management and project teams in selecting quality measures and setting up quality reporting systems.
 Lead kaizen and problem-solving events.
 Other duties as assigned.
