Catering Supervisor

Join our amazing team at Seminole State College! Prior Catering and Supervisory experience needed. A fun and fast paced setting with opportunity for advancement! Interviews Mon-Friday from 7am - 3pm, scheduled with general manager at Seminole Sate College, Sanford/Lake Mary, FL. Salary based on experience.

Event Execution & Supervision: Sets up, executes, and breaks down catered events, ranging from small meetings to large VIP functions.

Customer Service: Interacts with clients (faculty, staff, students, and external guests) to discuss event needs, troubleshoot, and ensure satisfaction.

Ensures compliance with health and safety codes (HACCP) and university policies.

Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods, pushing/pulling equipment.

Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours mostly working Monday - Friday with an occasional early evening event. No late nights or weekends.

Conditions: Commercial kitchen environment, including exposure to high temperatures.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and seeking a Rock Star Catering Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to show off your hospitality and attention to detail in a busy and creative department. This role is all encompassing, assisting with Business Development, Operations and Guest Relations. You will be part of an amazing team ensuring the coordination of a polished process resulting in beautiful presentations of food and displays while ensuring Guest experience is second to none.

Our catering events range from small casual business lunches to amazing and extravagant black tie events. Our Catering Supervisor will oversee the Operations and Staff Management with responsibilities to include assembly and setup of all catering functions, servicing, employee training development, and Sales and Pricing. Must be able to read, write, use simple math, follow and give oral and written instructions. Ability to work quickly with hands and stand for long periods of time is essential.

Supervising the Catering Staff in Prep, Assembly and Setup of functions
