This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour days from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with 2 weekdays and 1 weekend on call.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and possess a strong background in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with general, orthopedic, GI, urology, and surgical oncology procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-unit orientation and training programs as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical setting.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if applicable for pediatric cases).
• Proficient in EPIC charting with no additional training provided.
