Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

The Travel RN-OR Circulator will provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical unit. This role involves supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating patient care throughout various operations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Facilitate surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and assisting the surgical team as needed.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and maintain patient safety and comfort during surgery, following protocols and standards.
  
  
• 
  Utilize advanced skills with da Vinci Robotics and assist with orthopedic and vascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document all perioperative activities accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies, including required certifications and on-call duties.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
  
  
• 
  Experience with da Vinci Robotics and orthopedic surgery procedures.
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to work 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM shifts, including 3-6 call shifts per month.
  
  
• 
  Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Vascular experience preferred.
