Role Description This is a contract role for an Automation Engineer in our Houston, TX location and Chicago, IL. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, automation, and robotics on a day-to-day basis. Mandatory Skills: Selenium, API Testing Database testing Job Description: Strong API testingskills withfunctional and automation 10 yearsof experience is mandatory Should haveDatabase testingEXP. Able to Analyze requirements Prepare Test Plans, Testing requirements Good at interaction with Business Teams if any clarifications and work with offshore functional and automation leads to drive the testing Review Test Strategy/Test Plan/Test Cases Perform Sanity / Functional / Regression Testing and report the consolidated testing reports and release sign off reports Participation in Requirements grooming sessions, Scrum, business review calls, and release cut over calls. Awareness of Bug Life Cycle and report issues, prioritize and represent in release sign offs Proactive and Get things done attitude Good communication skills and should be able to handle the project independently Should be flexible and ready to support in CST Work on Automation sprint automation model Work on Maven, TestNG, CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins Analyse the automation requirements and develop test plan or test approach, derive test estimations Develop automation scripts & execute them for the releases Develop/update the framework independently Develop Test strategy Work closely with application development team for the requirements gathering and resolve the challenges Own test cycles and own end to end testing #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
