Woodworking Construction Specialist
Plans and constructs complex wooden boxes, crates, skids, and bracing structures with non-standard features.
Develops, improvises, and modifies complex and critical construction plans, patterns, jigs, and sequences.
Checks items of a difficult nature to be boxed or crated against shipping documents or invoice to ensure correct identification, quantity and condition.
Uses woodworking tools and equipment, measures, cuts out and manufactures complex shipping container requiring critical fitted blocking, bracing, cradles, yokes, collars, or other supports necessary to provide appropriate support and protection.
Packs materials and equipment in standard non-standard boxes or crates using proper wrappings, liners, cradles, chocks, yokes collars, cushioning, or other protective devices.
Prepares packing lists, completes shipping documents, and stencils or labels identifying shipping and handling instructions on shipping container.
