We are looking for a highly motivated, results‑driven professional to lead market growth across key industrial sectors such as manufacturing, energy, chemicals, infrastructure, and heavy industry. The Director will partner with the SVP of Business Development & Strategy to shape, execute, and accelerate market expansion projects that support reactor deployment and the broader energy transition. Responsibilities Develop and shape TerraPower’s industrial sector market development strategy and identify opportunities across chemical, steel, oil and gas, and other industries. Prioritize and pursue high‑value market opportunities aligned with our reactor deployment and decarbonization initiatives. Design and implement multi‑year growth strategies targeting U.S. and global industrial companies to support the commercial strategy and business plan. Identify emerging industrial market opportunities in automation, electrification, digital transformation, and operational efficiency. Translate industrial customer needs into alignments with TerraPower’s Natrium technology. Build credibility as a trusted advisor for industrial transformation and modernization initiatives. Forge executive relationships with key stakeholders in the hyperscale and datacenter industry. Lead complex RFP/RFQ responses and support commercial negotiations. Represent TerraPower at industry forums, conferences, and other events. Collect, catalogue, and analyze market insights and competitive intelligence in partnership with Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Legal, Operations, and Finance. Build, develop, and retain a high‑performance team focused on industrial sector development. Key Qualifications and Skills 15+ years of business development, corporate strategy, or industrial sales leadership in one or more industrial verticals, including chemical, steel, and oil and gas. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree (or equivalent experience) preferred. Proven success building industrial sector relationships and navigating regulatory and policy environments. Deep expertise in sustainability, decarbonization, and the capital‑intensive project lifecycle. Strong commercial evaluation and negotiation skills; ability to create and defend investment‑grade business cases to senior leadership. High level of integrity, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset. Willingness to travel 30–50% and ability to work in select U.S. locations with frequent travel to Bellevue. Job Details Salary Range: $196,537 – $294,806 (Washington State) Competitive Compensation includes discretionary short‑term incentive payments.
