Supply Chain Security Officer The Supply Chain Security Officer's role is to keep the facility safe and profitable at all times by executing company programs and investigating any suspicious activities or behavior in the facility. Primary Responsibilities Conduct surveillance – observe associates and contractors in the facility, looking for activities or behavior associated with theft, fraud, or violence. Support shrinkage awareness programs – communicate current shrinkage issues to associates, encouraging practices to maintain profitability. Accountable for report writing and record maintenance – produce complete and accurate reports for the company and law‑enforcement agencies. Respond to emergencies – provide first‑responder aid such as CPR, bodily‑fluid clean‑up, fire‑extinguisher operation. Maintain facility truck entrance – execute procedures at the truck gate when assigned. Utilize the CCTV system – operate cameras to identify threats related to theft, shrinkage, violence, and safety. Various posts – control entry/exit points, conduct foot and vehicle patrols, assist with audit inspections.
