Radiology Physician

Position Overview The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for specialty and subspecialty faculty members within the Divisions of Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, and Neuroradiology in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Responsibilities Faculty members will engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and university/public service. Clinical service activities may include CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and plain films. Additional expectations may include participation in multidisciplinary meetings and weekend call rotations in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Cardiothoracic, or Abdominal Imaging. Equipment The department features state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including 3 T and 1.5 T clinical MRI scanners and the EXPLORER Total Body PET Scanner – the first scanner of its kind in the United States. Qualifications M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree Board certified or board eligible in Radiology Post‑graduate training, including fellowship or work experience, in one of the following subspecialties: Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Neuroradiology California medical license or eligibility for licensure in California, or meet eligibility requirements for a California Special Permit Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $425,000 – $525,000. Inclusive membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Call pay averages $18,000 to $26,000 annually, varying by division. An annual Z bonus of up to $20,000 is available.
