Maintenance Mechanic III, BHN

Role and Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and laser‑guided vehicles (AVG). The role requires in‑depth knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs. The technician must follow corporate and site‑specific Good Manufacturing Practices, report noncompliance, observe all company safety rules, and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Essential Functions Regular inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical production equipment across the facility. Detect and resolve malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and OSHA rules while performing work functions. Maintain records of service cycles and other maintenance activities. Manage time efficiently and complete all tasks assigned by supervisory authority. Report damages, defects, and other issues regarding electrical and mechanical units to the supervising manager. Document spare and replacement parts required and complete necessary documentation. Use and handle all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment appropriately. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule BHN: Wednesday‑Saturday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (10 hours) Compensation $29.00 – $33.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential Status Non‑Exempt Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Minimum of 3+ years’ experience with electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency in working with voltages from 24 V to 480 V, single‑phase and three‑phase. Experience with AVG or LVG. Knowledge of HMI’s. Ability to work independently. Proficiency in preventative maintenance tasks and services. Automation experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Understanding of using electrical testing equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools efficiently. Forklift operation capability. Ability to follow oral or written instructions. Team mindset. Ability to establish and maintain effective cooperative relationships.
