Emergency Services Registered Nurse

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description: The Emergency Services Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in an acute care environment. The nurse will demonstrate a teamwork approach, adhere to ProMedica behavioral expectations, and comply with the strenuously enforced call-off policy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center within the Emergency Services department.
• Utilize computerized charting via Epic and manage patient medications and IV therapies.
• Implement isolation precautions and triage patients effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to Hickman as needed, adapting to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of acute care experience in emergency services required.
• MUST have valid Michigan RN license in hand.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4.
