As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This driving position calls for professional communication, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access and movement of authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with post orders and applicable procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
