Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience to join its team in Portland. The role involves handling complex commercial disputes, including contract and business tort litigation, real estate, employment matters, and creditors' rights cases. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, gaining hands-on experience and significant responsibility. Duties Draft pleadings and motions. Manage discovery processes. Attend depositions and court appearances. Engage directly with clients. Requirements JD from an ABA-accredited law school. License to practice in Oregon. 2-4 years of litigation experience. Experience with court appearances, depositions, and discovery management. Strong academic credentials. Exceptional writing and analytical skills. Client-focused approach and excellent communication abilities. Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications License to practice law in Oregon. Skills Strong writing and analytical skills. Excellent communication abilities. Client-focused approach.
