Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations and possess a Doctorate degree in physical therapy. New graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patient comfort during sessions. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home‑based settings. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Physical therapy experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, lift 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, and bend. Technical/motor skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures or equipment use. Strong visual acuity and effective communication skills. Ability to cope with frequent public contact and meet deadlines under pressure. Ability to work under close supervision occasionally and independently.
