Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of Emergency Department experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: - Drip/titrate experience with cardiac drips, insulin, heparin required - Telemetry measurement/reading experience required - EPIC EMR experience highly preferred Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care. Candidates must have a strong background in emergency medicine. Participation in holiday rotation, including 1-2 of three upcoming summer holidays, is required. Experience with various types of critical care and emergency medicine drips is essential. The expected patient ratio is 3:1 in the Emergency Department. Candidates should possess up-to-date certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale. This position requires working every 3rd weekend. Only applicants with 24 months of current emergency experience will be considered. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply.
